Louis Englander was a son of Nathan Englander and Lea Rimini. He married 4 March 1936 in Amsterdam Marianna Jacobs, a daughter of Levie Jacobs and Mina Abrahams. The couple had one son, who just as his mother, has survived the Holocaust.
Louis Englander was born into a family of eight children. Two of them (a sister and a brother) have survived the Holocaust. The others, Eliazer, Judith, Esther, Jacques and Samuel Henri have been killed too in the Shoah.
