Mozes Peereboom was a son of Levie Peereboom and Jette Bloemhof. He married 15 Januari 1919 in Zaandam Heintje Rootveldt, a daughter of Isaac Rootveldt and Judith Ketellapper. The couple had one daughter, Henriette, who also has been killed in the Shoah.
Mozes Peereboom was born into a family with nine children. Two of them has died in childhood. One son passed already before the war and one daughter has survived the Holocaust. However, five of the nine children, Abraham, Reintje, Roosje, Betje and Mozes self, have been killed in the Shoah.
