Rebekka Kool was a daughter of Emanuel Kool and Marianna Hekster. She married Abraham Doof in Amsterdam on 9 January 1930, a son of Hartog Doof and Sara van West. The couple had two sons: Hartog and Emanuel. They were killed in Sobibor together with their mother. Rebekka's husband was killed there one month later.
