Eva Beesemer, a daughter of Abraham Beesemer and Johanna Winnik, married Barend Zegerius in Zaandam on 31 July 1918, a son of Meijer Hartog Zegerius and Duifje Lap. Her firstborn son died only four days old. Her daughter survived the Holocaust but her son Maurice was killed during the Shoah, somewhere in Mid-Europe.
