Sara Boers from Leeuwarden was a daugther of Salomon Boers and Roosje Keizer. On 15 March 1917, at age 40, she married the 56-year old widower of Hanna van Santen in Amsterdam, Joseph de Jong from Utrecht, a son of Marcus de Jong and Sara van Praag. Joseph de Jong however passed away already on 21 December 1918 in Amsterdam and was interred two days later in the Jewish Cemetery of Muiderberg.
From the 1st marriage of Joseph de Jong and Hanna van Santen, a daughter Sara was born, who was married to Simon Corper. That couple had two children: Joseph and Hanna Flora. Sara Boers had no children of her self.
Sara Boers was born into a family with six children, of whom one daughter has died in childhood and two brother have survived the Holocaust. She lived together with her sister Henderina Jette, both widowed, at Valckenierstaat 57 II in Amsterdam and they have been killed together on 5 March 1943 in Sobibor.
