Mozes Polak was a son of Barend Polak and Elisabeth Prijs. His father died in Rotterdam in 1940, a few months before the outbroke of the war. His mother has passed away already in 1926. Mozes Polak, working as a warehouseman, working as a warehouseman, married Elisabeth Blog in Amsterdam on 29 July 1936, a daughther of Wolf Blog and Lena Zwart. In 1941 their son Barend was born, who has survived the Holocaust by hiding in the south of the province of Limburg.
Mozes Polak was sent to transit camp Westerbork on 25 March 1943 where they stayed in barack 70. On 4 May 1943 they were deported from there to Sobibor and upon arrival there immediately killed on 7 May 1943.
Mozes was born into a family with eight children. His sister Sientje and brother Simon have survived the Holocaust. The others, namely Rebecca, Isaac, Levie, Hijman, Samuel (and Mozes self) have been killed all in the Shoah.
