The Jewish Monument is mandatory to publish the official date and place of death as stated after the war by the Dutch Department of Justice. In 1947 a death certificate was drafted by the Dutch Red Cross which stated that the date and place of death for Rosette Susanna Manus is the 28th of April 1943 at Ravensbrück. This date was confirmed by a Dutch courd a year later.
Extended research shows that the above mentioned date is probably false (see: Rosa Manus (1881-1942): The International Life and Legacy of a Jewish Dutch Feminist, red Myriam Everard and Francisca de Haan, Leiden/Boston: Brill, 2017). Most likely the date is March 1942 at Bernburg.
Based on this evidence, by exception, the date and place of death are corrected.
