Jacob Rudolph Manasse was a son of Eugenius Rudolph Manasse and Geertrui Schenk. 4 November 1908 he married in Renkum Diena Sternfeld, a daughter of Salomon Sternfeld and Dientje Cohen. As far as known this couple had no children and this marriage ended in a divorce 28 October 1915 by verdict of the District Court of Arnhem. 6 November 1915 it was registered in the Civil Registry.
27 May 1925 Jacob Rudolph Manasse remarried in Amsterdam Elisabeth Parser, a daughter of Levie Parsser and Vrouwtje Nerden. Research has not shown that this couple had children. After registration by the Jewich Council, Jacob Rudolph Manasse, was exempted from deportation (“gesperrt”); he ran a store in household items and held a legitimation of the Jewish Council D.1379, Lok. Z. (Joodsch Lokaal/Zaak). Before he had a drugstore at Hemonylaabn 44 down floor in Amsterdam, his last known address too.
29 May 1943 Jacob Rudolph Manasse and his wife Elisabeth Parsser were registered at Camp Westerbork and had to stay in barack 64. A few days afterwards, 1 June 1943 they were deported to Sobibor where they were killed immediately upon arrival there on 4 June 1943.
Vrouwtje Parsser-Nerden (a daughter of Zacharias Philip Nerden and Betje Blom) lived in with her daughter Elisabeth Parsser and her husband at Hemonylaan 44 down floor in Amsterdam. Vrouwtje Parsser-Nerden passed away in Amsterdam 23 June 1941 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery at Diemen.
