Jacob Cohen de Heer from Dordrecht was a son of Jacob Cohen de Heer and Grietje Spetter. He married Alida Betsi van Witsen in Rotterdam 22 May 1907, a daughter of Salomon van Witsen and Rosetta Roos. The couple had three children, namely . Grietje Rosa in 1908, Rosetta in 1910 en Jacob in 1912. Jacob’s spouse however passed away 26 May 1927 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery Toepad at Rotterdam.
Jacob Cohen de Heer resided at Insulindeweg 24 in Rotterdam and was deported from his home address to Camp Westerbork. 12 October 1942 he was put on transport to Auschwitz and upon arrival there he was immediately killed 15 October 1942.
