Jacob Dikker, a son of Mozes Jacob Dikker and Sophia Zadoks, married 26 July 1893 in Borne Dina Lievendag, a daughter of Salomon Lievendag and Rosetta Sleisner. His sister Rachel Dikker would marry later in 1903 a brother of Dina, Joseph Lievendag.
Jacob and Dina had three children, namely Sophia in 1894, Salomon in 1896 and Rozette in 1897. Salomon and Rozette however have died as very young babies. Sophia was killed in the Shoah, just as het father Jacob Dikker. His wife Dina Lievendag passed away 22 February 1931 in Amsterdam and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
Jacob Dikker moved in Amsterdam dozens of times. In the beginning he lived as lodger at Rapenburg 95 in Amsterdam but when he married Dina Lievendag, they moved together to Valkenbugerstraat and Laagte Kadijk. After several times having moved again, Jacob and Dina lived per 10 January 1931 at Valkenburgerstraat 198, where Dina passed away. His daughter Sophia was already married in 1913 and did not live at home no more.
After the passing of his wife in 1931, Jacob moved from address to address again, till he married again 11 July 1934 to the 54-year old and 10 years younger Sippora Buitekand, a daughter of Isaac Buitekant and Vrouwtje Komkommer. The just married couple went living then at Afrikanerplein 51 3rd floor. 11 January 1940 their last addres became Hofmeyrstraat 27 1st floor in Amsterdam.
In the night of 18 September 1942, Jacob Dikker and his wife Sippora Buitekant have been picked up from their home and via the Hollandsche Schouwburg sent to Westerbork. They were both put on transport 21 September to Auschwitz and on arrival there 24 September 1943 immidelately killed.
