Philip Theeboom was a son of Isaak Salomon Theeboom and Lea Toledo. He married Catharina Voorzanger in Amsterdam on 11 December 1901, a daughter of Aron Voorzanger and Naatje Oppenheijm. The couple had eight children, of whom two daughters have survived the Holocaust. The other children: Izaak, Lea, Anna, Debora, Aron and Rachel have been killed all during the Shoah.
Philip Theeboom passed away one year after the outbreak of the war in Amsteram, on 19 March 1941 and was interred one day later in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
