Israël Wolf, a son of David Wolf and his 2nd wife Elisabeth de Vries, was born 5 August 1886 in Den Haag. At the time of his wedding, he was a glazier by profession; he married 29 December in Den Haag the non-Jewish Anna Gerharda Sophia Huegen, - she was an ironer – and a daughter of Gerardus Johannas Huegen and Andriana Henrika Louisa Petronella Blewanus. His brother, the musician Alexander Isaac Wolf was his best-man. As far as could researched, the couple had no children.
In April 1942 Israël Wolf and his wife lived at Pletterijstraat 164 in Den Haag and was the owner of a full-service laundry. Later that year, Israël was carried off to Westerbork where he had to stay more than 14 days, till he was put on transport 19 October to Auschwitz. On arrival there the 22nd of October 1942, Israël Wolf has been immediately killed.
