According the registration card from the file cabinet of the Jewish Council, it appears that Perl Slomovits-Feuerwerker was deported from Westerbork on 18 September 1942 to "the East". After a stop in Kozel, this transport arrived in Auschwitz on 20 or 21 September 1942. Perl Slomovits-Feuerwerker was killed there on 21 September 1942.
The Ministry of Justice ordered the municipality of The Hague after the war to draw up a death certificate for Perl Feuerwerker, stating where and when she died: on 21 September 1942 in Auschwitz. (Cert. of death C3124 dated 17 Nov. 1950). No death records were found in The Hague for the other members of the Slomovits family.
Strange is however that on registration cards from the file cabinet of the Jewish Council for members of the Slomovits family the annotation was made “Repatriation to Romania according list Expo 24 Aug 1943” (not at the cards for Perl Feuerwerker and her son Jenö), whilst at all cards (except those from the surviving Heinrich and Elisabeth), the date of deportation of 18 September 1942 was listed. Because the card of Perl Slomonvits-Feuerwerker has no mention of “repatriation” and there is her death certificate made out in Den Haag, can be assumed as certainty that she was killed in Auschwitz on 21 September 1942.
