In December 1942 Hartog Prins and his wife Charlotte had a daughter, Rosa. They may have lived with Hartog's parents in The Hague. In January 1943 Charlotte moved with baby daughter Rosa to Nijmegen. A few months later, in April 1943, Hartog joined his wife and daughter. It must have been shortly afterwards that the family was arrested because in May 1943 it was located in Camp Vught, where baby Rosa died. On July 3, Hartog and Charlotte arrived in Westerbork and three days later they were deported to Sobibor, where they were immediately killed upon arrival.
