Since Aäron Premselaar has been deported on 3 September 1944 from Westerbork to Auschwitz in a so-called penal transport, together with his sister Betje, his mother Johanna Krant and presumably also his father Simon Premselaar, he was put to work as a forced labourer upon arrival ± 6 September 1944. This shows the collection named Arbeitseinsatz, which includes 4.480 cards of prisoners of various nationalities, working in different sub-camps and working commandos of Auschwitz-Birkenau complex. These documents were prepared in the office of Employment Department in SS camp administration.
Cards include the following headings: the name, date of birth, nationality, camp number, profession, profession recently performed, in the camp employed as, working squad/ Kommando (Command) and the part with information about prisoner transfers.
Some prisoners were reported as dead with the date of death.
Cards were created between 1941 and 1944.

State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau has only 4.480 copies of the cards. The original files are stored in the Storage Center of History and Documentary Collections in Moscow.
