According to the Sterbebücher of Auschwitz, Benjamin Hes died there on 3 September 1942. This date appears to be later than the official date of death of 19 August 1942, which was established after the war by the Dutch Ministry of Justice and which was described as follows (for Mozes de Hes (1864), Alida van Berg (1872), and Marianne Soester (1908) in the same deed but other d.o.d's)) in the death certificate no. 21 of 18 December 1952 from register 3 – see folio 9, folio 9 verso and folio 10.
Quote:

Unquote.
For the time being, the website joodsmonument.nl only contains the dates of death, as published in the Government Gazette by the Ministry of Justice at the time.
