Elisabeth Grootkerk was a daughter of Philip Grootkerk and Leentje Kloos. She married Isaac Koopman in 1889. He passed away in 1933. They had at least eleven children, among whom Samuel, Leentje, Greta and Mozes. Five children passed away before the war at a young age.
