Theodor Werthan

Theodor came to the Netherlands on January 5th, 1939, with a Kindertransport. First he lived at the Dommelhuis in Eindhoven, after which he lived in several other facilities for refugee children. In June 1940 he moved in to the boys orphanage in Amsterdam, from where he moved to the home in the Plantage Franschelaan in June 1942.
Theodor had an affidavit and a quota number for the US.
His mother, Jeanette Goldschmidt, born in 1885 in Flieder bei Fulder, was deported to Riga. His father Isaak had passed away on February 27th, 1938.
