I am the administrator of the website www.prinsesirenebrigade.nl and as such I have been investigating killed members of this brigade for 17 years. I have been looking for a photo of Brigadist Marcel Bernard de Lange (1915-1944) for a long time. Marcel's parents were traveling salesman David Alphonse de Lange (born 28 June 1883 in Zutphen and died 17 September 1943 in Auschwitz) and Sophia da Silva Abenatar (born 7 January 1892 in Amsterdam and died 17 September 1943 in Auschwitz). They married on February 3, 1915 in Deventer. They lived here at the Diepenveenscheweg 3d.
They had the following children together:
Marcel Bernard de Lange was born here on August 29, 1915
Bernard on April 26, 1918. He lived in East Ham in London until 1964, where he died in 1983 in Islington, London.
In June 1921, the family moved to The Hague, where his sister Georgette Henriette was born on July 19, 1924. She died in Auschwitz on the same day as her parents: September 17, 1943.
