Rena was a student at the Jewish Montessori Lyceum in Amsterdam. Her name is on a memory plaque that commemorates Rena and the other (former) students and teachers who were murdered.

The memory plaque is situated in the school yard of the current Amsterdam Montessori Lyceum.

Luise Marte Renate (Rena) attended the 1st Montessori school in Amsterdam from 1933 until 1940. A memory plaque in the school commemorates Rena and the other students who were murdered.

Rena's name is on one of the suitcases of the artwork by Willem Volkersz 'In Memoriam'.

On 24 January 2017 pupils from the Amsterdam Montessori Lyceum visited the National Holocaust Museum. They build a monument with the 172 suitcases from the art work In Memoriam by Willem Volkersz.

Op 18 juni 2005 werd, voorafgaand aan de reünie ter gelegenheid van het 75-jarig bestaan van het Montessori Lyceum Amsterdam aan de Pieter de Hoochstraat 59, op de binnenplaats een plaquette onthuld. Daarop stonden 25 namen van (oud-)leerlingen, medewerkers en bestuursleden die de Tweede Wereldoorlog niet hebben overleefd. Vermoord in vernietigingskampen, wegens verzetsdaden gefusilleer…

Van de 172 (oud-)leerlingen van de 1e Montessorischool in Amsterdam die in de Tweede Wereldoorlog werden vermoord waren er 169 joods. Zij staan hier in de rechter kolom alfabetisch vermeld.

Op het Olympiaplein in Amsterdam werd op 20 juni 2022 het monument ‘Schaduwen’ onthuld als herinnering aan de grootste razzia tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog in Amsterdam.
