Sophia Rodriguez-Blanes

Sophia is een dochter van Jacob Blanes en Eva Polak. Ze trouwde oktober 1926 met Salomon Rodriguez (A'dam, 18 februari 1904).

Sal(omon) Cohen Rodriguez kwam als vluchteling op 21-6-1940 om na een ontploffing (mijn?) op ss Berenice onder Bretagne, op weg van Bordeaux naar Falmouth (UK). (Tegelijk met dichter H. Marsman.) Het verhaal, dat zijn vrouw toen ook omkwam, klopt duidelijk niet.

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
