Mietje Pool-Cappel

Mietje Cappel was first married to Charles de Beer. He passed away in 1906. They had two children: Bernard Jakob and a child that survived the war. Later Mietje Cappel married Philippus Pool.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 604/6162).

Mietje Pool-Cappel werd in de nacht van 22 op 23 maart 1943 na verraad gearresteerd op haar onderduikadres aan de Reinkensstraat in Den Haag, waar bij masseuse/verpleegster Mies Walbeehm nog ongeveer 25 andere Joden verbleven.
