Hertog de Winter werd op 18 juni 1867 geboren in het Noord-Brabantse Veghel in een Joods gezin met 13 kinderen. Vader Israel (Rossum 4-5-1827) en moeder Regina de Jongh (Veghel 27-7-1832) woonden met hun grote gezin aan de Heuvelstraat A4…
