Salomon Kleinkramer and his family

After the bombing of Rotterdam on 14 May 1940, the Salomon Kleinkramer and his family were homeless. They found a place to live in Sliedrecht. In August 1942 the family arranged a place where they could go into hiding. Two young men from Sliedrecht were to take Kleinkramer and his son by rowing-boat over the Biesbosch to North Brabant, to prepare for the rest of the family to follow. However, the …
