Jacob Witjas was a son of Mozes Witjas and Esther Corper. His parents moved to Antwerp in the twenties. He had a brother Joseph who died in 1944 in Auschwitz.

Jacob Witjas lived in Brussels. On 3 April 1944, he was transported from Mechelen to Auschwitz. On 2 February 1945, he was brought to Mauthausen under the name of NL Jude. He died there on 12 March 1945.…
