The Nijmegen police commissioner requested that Hugo Ganz, a merchant, and his wife Margaretha Kaufman, without any occupation, both residing at 26 Postweg in Nijmegen, be located, detained and brought to trial. Hugo Ganz en de acht jaar jongere  Margaretha Kaufmann uit Rotterdam trouwden op 6 februari 193 in Amsterdam. In juni 1919 werd Hugo Ganz als Nederlander genaturaliseerd. Zij kregen twee dochters, Lilian en Alice Josette;  Alice heeft de oorlog overleefd. 

In augustus 1931 vestigde  het gezin Ganz zich n Nijmegen , Groesbeekseweg 200. Later verhuisden zij  naar de Postweg 26. In de oorlog doken H…
