Emmanuel Roozendaal had, samen met zijn zoon Abraham, een winkel in manufacturen aan de Smeestraat 1 in Lochem. Boven de winkel was hun woonhuis. Dat bovenhuis had zijn ingang in de zijstraat ‘t Ei en had als adres ‘t Ei 15.
