Koenraad is een zoon van Isaac Pront en Roosje Groen. Hij trouwde 18 juni 1913 met Alida Lelie (26 jaar), dochter van Salomon Lelie en Rebecca Vos.

Koenraad Pront and Alida Lelie had four children, of whom two presumably survived the war. In 1933 the family moved from Amsterdam to Hilversum.
