About Jozef de Groot

Jozef de Groot was a son of Mozes de Groot and Sientje Nieweg. In that family there were four other children: Samuel, Louis, Marcus and Estella. Jozef married on 8 December 1924 in Groningen to Reintje de Lange. The couple had two children: Sonja and Salli Maurits.

Jurgen Levy

After a stay in 'Het Dommelhuis' in Eindhoven since 5 January 1939 and at the 'Burgerweeshuis' in Amsterdam since 1 March 1940, Jurgen would stay with the family De Groot in Groningen from 12 March 1940.
