About Fina Duifje Cosman

Fina Duifje Cosman was placed in the Berg Stichting after her parents were divorced. Her three siblings were also residents of this institution for a while. Two of them survived the war.

Berg Stichting

De Berg-stichting is in 1909 opgericht als opvanghuis voor joodse kinderen uit noodlijdende gezinnen en voogdij kinderen. In 1940 waren 106 jongens en meisjes tussen 4 en 21 jaar ondergebracht bij de Berg-stichting. De niet joodse directeur Reitsema heeft zijn pupillen en personeel zo veel mogelijk trachten te beschermen. Door middel van onderduik of niet-joodverklaringen hebben zo‘n 70 inwonenden…
