Samuel Louis Cohen, accountant by profession, was a son of Louis Samuel Cohen and Clara van Dam. He married Frieda Gerson from (Bad) Sobernheim (Germany) and had two daughters with her: Rose Clara, born in Brussels in 1911 and Betty, born in Den Haag in 1914. They lived at 203 François Valentijnstraat in The Hague. They had changed their place of residence without obtaining the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
