Nathaniël Tobijah Polak and his family

Nathaniël Tobija Polak was an ancient languages secondary schoolteacher at the gymnasium in Delft and later the vice-principal. In 1934 he was retired.
On the day when the Jews of Delft were arrested, 5 March 1943, Nathaniël Polak died at his home, probably because of a heart failure. His wife and his daughter were brought to the police station and were deportated to camp Westerbork via the railwa…
