Elisabeth Nieuwkerk was the widow of Hartog David van Blankenstein, who died on 20 April 1938. She did not remarry. The couple had three children, including one who survived the war. Her daughter Duifje was married to Mozes Goudvis. Her daughter Jansje Rosalie never married and lived with her mother at 22 Zuider Amstellaan, ground floor, in Amsterdam.
