Jacob Teeboom was the son of Max Teeboom and Sara Teeboom-Van Kleef. Although he was trained as a carpenter at the trade school, he worked as a diamond polisher. His real passion was music. Jacob Teeboom played string bass and sang with Abe Remmelton’s band. He also conducted his own band, 'Jack Tea-tree and his boys'. In the beginning of the 1940's there were plans to make a recording of the band…
