Isaac Haïm Baruch

Isaac Haim Baruch was a son of Isaac Sacharias Baruch and Sara Pezaro. He was a diamond cutter. He had learned the profession in Antwerp and returned to Amsterdam in 1895. He was married to Hana (Anna) Rodrigues Pereira (engagement 1897). She died in 1937. They had three children, of whom two survived the war. Shortly before Isaac Haim Baruch and his family left the town of Haarlem, he gave a Torah or Talmud to the neighbours for safekeeping. Surviving familiymembers picked up the book after the war.
