Marcus (Max) Meents was the only child of Levie Meents and Frederika Veerman. On 20 november 1940 he married Elisabeth Bowier (25-08-1915 - died 5-08-2003) From this marriage a daughter Elisabeth Meents was born on 28 May 1941. Fourteen days after the birth of his child Marcus Meents was taken from his home in the Vechtstraat. Via Schoorl he was deported to Mauthausen.
