In 1942, Salomon Hijman had failed to comply with regulation 5842, the transfer of stocks and shares to the Liro-bank. He was alert on the seriousness of this offense by a department of the Jewish Council, located at the Afrikaner Square 19-23 in Amsterdam. In result Solomon Hijman transferred his bonds to the Liro bank, aswell as his savings of 3900 guilders.
