Het gezin Vischschoonmaker had drie dochters. De jongste, Sophia, werd geboren op 27 april 1942. Als baby van dertien maanden werd ze bij de buren gebracht tijdens de razzia van 23 mei 1943. Dit was al eerder afgesproken. De rest van het gezin zou eigenlijk ook onderduiken, maar dat is niet gebeurd.
