We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.

De familie Wertheim woonde aan het Raphaëlplein in de Apollobuurt in Amsterdam. Een ruim huis, met minstens 7 kamers, waar ze een pension hadden. Pension Wertheim was aangesloten bij R.E.O.R.: Ritueel Eten op Reis. In de gids van deze stichting was te vinden in welke pensions en restaurants men koosjer kon eten.
