Jacob Vomberg was the son of Nathan Vomberg and Mietje Vromen. Jacob was office clerk, traveller and merchant in bathroom equipment.
In 1920 he moved from Zutphen to Deventer and in 1933 he moved from Lochem to Amsterdam. He lived there in the Rustenburgerstraat 387 II and in the J.M.Coenenstraat 18 II. In 1942 he married in Amsterdam to Saartje Moses (or Selma Moses).
