Joseph Gans

Joseph Gans was the 4th child of Gerson Gans and Dina Rodrigues. He was an apprentice mechanic and lived still at home with his parents at Lepelstraat 62 3^rd stock in Amsterdam. He was unmarried. Gerson Gans, a lump sorter, was a son of Elias Gans and Mijntje Schuit. 27 June 1917, at the age of 18 he married in Amsterdam the 19-year old Dina Rodrigues, a daughter of Jacob Rodrigues and Heintje Fransman.
