Abraham Ensel

Abraham Ensel was a son of David Ensel and Hanna Fransman. He married in Amsterdam on 5 April 1905 to Maria Ensel, a daughter of Raphael Ensel and Salina Behr.
Abraham came from a family with 10 children. Three children have died before the war. Besides himself, all his other siblings, Rebecca, Andries, Christina, Heintje, Manus and Raphael have been killed during the Holocaust.

Nadat Rachel Ensel in 1922 werd geboren, kregen Maria en Abraham op 1 januari 1924 nog een kindje. Deze baby, een jongen, werd echter doodgeboren. Ze hebben het kind geen naam gegeven. Pas in 1932 kregen zij weer een kind, Christina Maria (Stientje) Ensel.
