Ascher Sann en zijn echtgenote Judik Sann-Drukker hebben getracht een veilig onderkomen te vinden door via België en Frankrijk te vluchten.

Helaas zijn zij in Frankrijk opgepakt en met Transport 46 op 09-02-1943 vanuit Drancy, Frankrijk gedeporteerd naar Auschwitz.

Hun zoon heeft Zwitserland wel bereikt en heeft de oorlog overleefd.
