David de Marcas and his family

David de Marcas married on 9 August 1917 with Marie Leonore Marsman. They had two children.Marie Leonore died in 1936. One child of the couple survived the war.

Noortje de Marcas

Noortje de Marcas was voor de oorlog een van de beste vriendinnen van Ina Soep.  Samen volgden ze een secretaresseopleiding. Toen Ina in Westerbork zat, kwam Noortje daar ook terecht. Ze werd in de strafbarak geplaatst, maar daar later uit ontslagen. Enkele dagen later, op 25 januari 1944, werd ze alsnog naar Auschwitz gedeporteerd.
