David van Boele

David van Boele was a son of Abraham van Boele and Batseba Farro. He married 25 November 1908 in Amsterdam Flora van de Wiek, a daughter of Jacob van de Wiek and Naatje Grijsaart. The couple had four daughters; three of them survived the Holocaust but Anna has been killed in the Shoah.

David van Boele had nog een dochter: Branca (geb. 19 maart 1916 Amsterdam). Zij trouwde op 10 december 1941 met de niet-joodse Engelbertus 'Bertus' Johannes ten Dam. Ze kenden elkaar uit de AJC. Het huwelijk liep stuk, maar ze bleven tot na de oorlog getrouwd omdat dit veiliger was voor Branca. Branca zou tijdens de oorlog enige tijd verbonden zijn geweest aan de lagere school in de Kraaipanstraat…
