Louis Bloemendal is de derde zoon en het zesde kind van Benjamin Bloemendal en Pietje Mendels. Hij wordt op 2 mei 1922 geboren in het Wilhelminagasthuis in Amsterdam. Louis is bontwerker van beroep.
