Kurt Leiser

Simon Leiser emigrated with his wife and one of his sons to the Netherlands in 1938, after he had been detained in the Sachsenhasuen camp and his son in Dachau. His other son came to the Netherlands in 1939 and lived in the Wieringermeer hakhshara settlement. A third child survived the war.

Kurt Leiser zat in het eerste transport naar Auschwitz van 15 juli 1942. Hij behoorde tot de groep van 100 'Alte Lagerinsassen' van Westerbork die voor dit eerste transport werden geselecteerd.
