Louisa Andriesse was a daughter of Emanuel Andriesse and Mietje Wallig. She married Michiel van der Maas on 13 Februari 1889 in Rotterdam, a son of Abraham van der Maas and Rachel Drukken. The couple had five children, of whom Leentje and Abraham died in childhood, only a few months old.
