Daniël Sanders was a son of Marcus Sanders and Anna Nathans. He worked as a waiter and as a cook at the Zuidwal Hospital in The Hague. In 1919 he worked as a servant at the Grand Hotel in Scheveningen. Later ran a small hotel.
In 1942 Daniël Sanders was transported through Westerbork to Auschwitz. Near the town Kosel, some 80 kilometres from Auschwitz, he was taken from the train as labour force.…
