Eva Katschinsky

Eva was a German refugee. She came to the Netherlands with her parents in February 1939. The family got a visa for Bolivia, but Eva go a serious kidney disease, which is why the father left for Bolivia alone. Eva stayed in the hospital for months, and in the end Eva and her Dutch born mother did not manage to make it to Bolivia.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 4178/16659).
